ABOUT ME

Up Close & Personal

Born in the heart of KL, I am a committed mass communication graduate with an honours degree in Advertising and Journalism. I am looking to secure a full-time position in a renowned company where I can utilize my current skills set and experience to further progress within my job and career.

Armed with a Diploma and a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication, as well as valuable industry experiences gained from previous workplace with a renowned international publishing house, Scholastic Inc. under my belt, I am confident in facing any given tasks entrusted to me.

I am highly confident in my abilities in spotting grammar mistakes and spelling errors at a glance. I am also confident that I am able to create or proofread words to suit my target audience or to follow a client's brief.

Being a huge movie buff and a total bookworm, my head is constantly in the clouds and I consume fictional stories and movie quotes like the air I breathe. Just make sure not to bother me during my personal time, as that might result in fatal injuries. But, no extreme cases have been reported so far.

Managed the trans-media publication for the latest released titles through the company's book app, the Scholastic StoryPlus, tasked with creating and proofreading academic contents for the company's Teaching Guides, handled the projections for upcoming books to be published, managed the inventory and shipping of books samples, translating and proofreading scripts as well as writing copies for upcoming book publications.
